About Dr. Kirkham
Dr Charles Kirkham has been providing OB/GYN care as a partner of Corpus Christi Women's Clinic for over three decades. He and his wife Julie feel blessed that they have been able to return to their hometown to practice medicine and raise their family. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr Kirkham offers complete care in women's health including preventive health care, obstetrics, infertility, menopausal care including BioTE hormonal replacement therapy, and robotic surgery. He has served Bay Area Medical Center as Chief of Obstetrics, Chief of the Medical Staff, Chairman of the Peer Review Committee, and Credentials Committee member. His quality clinical practice was recognized by his recruitment and service as a proctor for minimally invasive surgical procedures and as a member of several pharmaceutical companies' speakers bureau.
Dr Kirkham and Julie returned home with 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter. After raising them with the help and support of extended family in town, they now enjoy encouraging and loving their 5 grandchildren. As a loyal Texas Aggie, Dr Kirkham has fulfilled the role of an Aggie Dad as all 3 of his children graduated from Texas A&M and they all married Aggies. They have no collegiate "house divided".
An outdoor enthusiast and fitness buff, Dr Kirkham is an avid surfer, runner and tennis player - counting among his accomplishments the completion of the Houston Tenneco Marathon in 1991. Besides our Corpus Christi beaches, he has caught waves in the Bahamas, California, Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rico, and even Typhoon Lagoon at Disney World. He was blessed to surf Maui on his 65th birthday.
His Christian faith has shaped his character and his medical practice. He is a deacon at First Baptist Church where he ministers as a Sunday School teacher and race director for 15 years of the Arise-N-Run 5 K race held Easter weekends. He strives to provide compassionate, quality care with a caring, personal manner.
Dr Kirkham treasures his patients and office practice. He is enjoying the blessings of developing medical relationships with families over 30 years. He is now providing gynecology care and delivering babies of women he delivered. The circle of life for an obstetrician.
